My yahoo store currently has a quickbooks download which is a huge timesaver. Would be great if shipworks could have this. from what I can tell there is currently no work around for this with an export....but I am new. I am sure this has been brought up before but would be a #1 priority for us.

What does this QuickBooks download do for you? Which version of QuickBooks are you using? What information are you trying to get into ShipWorks that your Yahoo Store isn't providing?

We use it to download orders into quickbooks vs having to manually enter orders. So I guess I am saying export FROM shipworks TO quickbooks since the info from Yahoo is in shipworks.

It would be great to do that all in shipworks as a one step process (download orders, import them into quickbooks, ship and be done) to fully use it as an order/shipping management system vs still doing 2-3 steps.

We use quickbooks for mac...but I the yahoo download works will all versions of quickbooks.
If there is a way to do it currently in shipworks I have not been able to see it....
thanks
carol

You can get any information you want out of ShipWorks, but as far as importing into QuickBooks, I don't know what to tell you. We've used the QuickBooks Point of Sale SDK to get ShipWorks and QuickBooks talking, but its only one way data (from ShipWorks to QBPOS). The normal QuickBooks program has a separate SDK, so maybe you can find a developer to work with on that?

ok thanks
the sales person I spoke to when signing up for the trial said that it was coming for shipworks in a future version.....as it is requested a lot, so I thought I would put my 2 cents in. If it is not something that will be in the future we will have to think about that....hmmm.

Ah, okay. I don't work for ShipWorks, so I can't talk about future releases. I will say, however, that the feature isn't available right now without using the QuickBooks SDK or a third party software.
